🏁 Get Ready for the White Horse Soapbox Derby – Saturday, May 17, 2025!

Excitement is building as the White Horse Soapbox Derby returns to Westbury on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Set against the iconic backdrop of the Westbury White Horse at Bratton Camp (BA13 4TA), this event promises a day filled with thrills, innovation, and community spirit.

Event Highlights:

Date & Time: Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 10 AM to 7:00 PM.

Location: Westbury White Horse, Bratton Camp, BA13 4TA.

Admission: Free for all attendees.

Activities:

Witness daring racers navigate one of the UK's steepest and most technical 400-meter soapbox tracks, boasting gradients up to 18.4% and speeds reaching 50kph.

Explore the STEM Fair, focusing on wind power and historical engineering, with interactive exhibits and challenges for all ages.

Enjoy live music performances, a variety of food stalls, a licensed bar, kite displays, and family-friendly entertainment throughout the day, including the Red Devils Display team and a Scout Helicopter landing. Plus huge Kite festival !!! !

Travel & Parking – Embrace the Park and Ride:

To ensure a smooth and environmentally friendly experience, attendees are encouraged to utilize the park and ride services: You can also jump in a licensed TAXI and get a lift to the event. A great option for families that don't fancy the buses.

Warminster Road Car Park (BA13 3PE)

Operating Hours: Buses will run continuously from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last return bus departing at 7:30 PM.T

Cost: £5 per adult for a return journey; children ride free

Accessibility: Blue Badge holders can apply for on-site parking passes in our FAQ Section. 

 Utilizing the park and ride not only eases congestion but also supports the event's commitment to environmental sustainability.
