Landmarc

Landmarc Support Services has worked in partnership with the Ministry of Defence (MOD) for 20 years, providing services on the UK military training estate that enable Armed Forces from around the world to prepare for frontline military operations. This includes Salisbury Plain Training Area in Wiltshire, where we support the MOD with a wide range of services including Training Estate Public Safety, the operation of training areas and ranges, built and rural estate management, environmental and conservation support and the delivery of multi-million pound projects to improve vital training assets.

Part of our service to provide a safe and sustainable place to train for our Armed Forces includes a commitment to support people in the communities that live and work around the sites that we manage. Whether this is from our use of local suppliers and the employment opportunities we provide, the stewardship of the natural capital of the training estate or our support for local community projects, we are committed to maintaining a culture of ‘shared value’ and corporate social responsibility across all of our operations.

The White Horse Soap Box Derby is an excellent opportunity to support the local community in Wiltshire and engage with young people about future career opportunities, as well as putting our own engineering skills to the test as we prepare to send our own teams hurtling down the picturesque chalk escarpment above Westbury!

We are proud to be a part of it and wish all the competitors every success.
